Operated by the Woodstock Historical Society, the Dana House Museum showcases its New England history both inside and out. The Dana House itself was built in 1807 and, since 1943, is home to a large collection of furniture, antiques, fine art, photographs and more. The museum is open Tuesday through Saturday during summer months.

The Montshire Museum of Science is a hands-on museum in Norwich offering a range of exhibits relating to technology, natural science, ecology and more. Located next to the Connecticut River, the museum's outdoor environment plays prominently in the museum experience. Open daily from 10am to 5pm.

This is a working dairy farm as well as a living museum. A self-guided tour will take visitors through exhibits that include dairying, maple sugaring and ice cutting. The museum is open daily from May through October. Reservations recommended.

The American Precision Museum contains the largest collection of historically significant machine tools in the nation, presenting the tools and methods of mass production that are the foundation for modern manufacturing practices.

Adams Grist Mill
The museum, a former mill and grain store, displays original machinery, equipment, tools, supplies and memorabilia from the gristmill when it closed in the early 1960s. Opening hours are July and August only, Saturday and Sunday, 1pm to 4pm and by appointment.

This collection initially belonged to an early 20th century taxidermist. It has a large collection of mounted birds with more than 650 including three extinct species. There are also exhibits of live birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians. The museum is open daily, 10am to 5pm, from Memorial Day to late October.
